HASTREITER INDUSTRIES, ABOUT US
Official Release of Mission, Vision, Core Values
Kylan Hastreiter – June 29, 2020

The mission and vision is not for anyone to individually exemplify or live out, that is what the core values are for. Ultimately, the mission, vision and core values answer the questions:
For what purpose do we exist as a business?
What do we want to accomplish?
How will we carry ourselves as individuals?
Mission:
Honor God and Serve Others, through our Actions & Interactions with Joy, Enthusiasm and Innovation
We feel strongly about the purpose for why we exist as a company. Out of a purpose determines actions. For us it means doing the right thing, not for pride but for a higher purpose. We believe that a fulfilling life, whether our personal life or in business, means caring and focusing on others. However, serving with joy and enthusiasm while being innovative in our business practices and technology provides the duality of warmth and cutting edge to serve God, Country, communities, customers and our fellow employees.
Vision:
Thriving Families, Strong Communities & Purpose Driven Business Practices
Purpose Driven Manufacturing. From our operations we believe we can make positive impact on families, the communities we live in and our business climate. Thriving families first and foremost means taking care of our employees. We want to see our people succeed both professionally and personally.
When we look back at the footprints left behind by Hastreiter Industries, we want to see that we strengthened, supported and helped build up our community. The relationship is not what we can get but what we can give, which in turn creates stronger communities that we all personally live in and that Hastreiter Industries operates in.
Lastly, we believe that by operating with intentional purpose, integrity and vigor that we can be a positive influence within the markets and industries that we operate within.
Core Values:
Serve
Serve Each other & our Customers/Community/Nation
Serving is an action where we put others before ourselves, but it’s deeper than that. This starts with an attitude, a mindset and a choice. We can choose to prioritize ourselves and/or our company by having a selfish, inward focus or we can instead have an outward focus. From that heart, flows our actions where we choose to build up our fellow co-workers and where we can serve our customers with integrity. We are not in the business of selling machined parts. We are in the businesses of supporting our employees so that they have the work environment, technology and more that empowers them to support our customers. We are in the business of providing a worry-free supply chain by serving our customer’s needs. Our goal is so that customers don’t have to worry about whether the parts will show up on time, our job is eliminating issues and being in communication with transparency.
We believe that we can make a difference within our four walls, to our customers, the communities we operate in and beyond. This all ultimately helps shape our nation to be the place that we all want to live in, work in, do business in.
Grow:
Grow in Knowledge & Capabilities as Individuals & as a Company
We focus on long term relationships, whether with employees, customers or community members/institutions, which means we have to be able to evolve with a changing environment and grow with our customer’s or local community’s needs. In order to achieve this we have to be hungry to continuously learn and continue to grow in capabilities, whether as a company or as individuals, to maintain the maximum support to our customers. Such growth is required to ultimately become who we are meant to be as individuals or as a company, thereby driving performance.
Prepare:
Prepare, Mentor/Guide/Equip, Think Long-term
Preparing ultimately means you are doing something for the future and the best kind of preparation involves the long term, because by the time you have to deal with the short term or immediate, you’ve already planned for it! It starts with recognizing how important a long-term vision is and then creating tangible plans to get there. In today’s workforce, so many people want to know where the company they work for is going. It’s great to have a vision, but you must have a long-term focus with long term plans to get there. One powerful thing is to equip your people and help grow them into thinking long term in the decisions they make on behalf of your company. This immensely supports the stability and healthiness of an organization, which are characteristics that are key for staying as a thriving organization over the long term.
A large part of preparing for the future is preparing the next generation, or passing along knowledge and wisdom to co-workers. Ultimately, we can be passive in serving our co-workers in this capacity or we can be proactive in growing the knowledge and capabilities of our organization. This also extends to outside our organization with supporting local schools and nonprofits in raising up the future.
Accountability:
Accountability to Each other & to our Customers/Suppliers/Community
In all that we do, at every level that we operate, we are accountable to someone or something. As co-workers we are accountable to each other and for the product we produce. As we serve or interact with others such as our customers, suppliers and community, we are accountable for our obligations and actions.
Curiosity:
Curiosity, Approach each situation with a strong desire to know & learn
In all that we do, at every level that we operate, we are accountable to someone or something. As co-workers we are accountable to each other and for the product we produce. As we serve or interact with others such as our customers, suppliers and community, we are accountable for our obligations and actions.
